Attending Berlin Buzzwords and MICES 2024
Next month I’ll be back at Berlin Buzzwords, 9–11 June in Berlin.
I’ll also attend the satellite event, MICES. It’s a single-day, single-track conference devoted to all things search and e-commerce.
New Position – Senior ML Engineer at Coveo
This month I join Coveo as a Senior ML Engineer, working specifically in the Commerce AI division. Coveo is an AI-powered search and recommendation platform, serving enterprise customers across commerce, customer service, and workplace search.

On 22 November I’ll be at Search Solutions, the BCS Information Retrieval Specialist Group’s annual practitioner conference, held at BCS in London.

Later this month I’ll be at Berlin Buzzwords, 18–20 June at the Kulturbrauerei in Berlin. I’ve never been before, but I’ve spent a lot of time learning watching talks from previous Buzzwords, and look forward to seeing some in person this year.

New Position – Principal Engineer at Cookpad
This month I transition in to the role of Principal Engineer at Cookpad. The Principal Engineer role has been recently introduced as a role at Cookpad, and I will work alongside the other three Principal Engineers in our Product organisation that consists of 75 engineers.
